No! Chat2Bill works on any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser. It also supports thermal printers (58mm & 80mm) for printing receipts — just plug in via USB and print.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit with 256-bit SSL. Your business data is yours alone — we never share it with third parties.

Mostly yes for text billing. Chat2Bill sends small text requests (typically a few KB), so normal typing works better than audio on weak networks. Voice input depends on browser/device speech support and may lag on 2G, so text remains the reliable fallback.

Bills are queued locally on that device and sync when internet returns. Important: if browser/app storage is cleared, the phone is reset, or the app is uninstalled before sync, those unsynced local bills can be lost.

Offline mode is best for short interruptions and low-concurrency situations. While offline, each device uses its last synced stock snapshot. If multiple devices sell the same item offline, final stock is reconciled when sync happens and conflicts may need manual correction.

Yes, as an optional shortcut. Use the mic to speak in English or Hindi where supported. Accuracy and speed depend on your browser, microphone quality, background noise, and network conditions. Typing is always available and is the most reliable mode.

Chat2Bill calculates CGST/SGST on invoices with HSN and tax breakdowns, and can export GSTR-1 style summaries for your CA. We do not connect to the GST portal or file returns from the app — your CA or usual filing process still applies.

Yes. Chat2Bill includes purchase entry, a supplier ledger and a day-end cash book, plus purchase price per product so the dashboard shows your margins. What we don't do yet: GST portal filing and multi-branch accounting — your CA still files from the GSTR-1 export.

Single-counter and small multi-staff shops that want fast search-pick-qty billing, GST invoices, inventory, Khata (udhaar), an online store, purchase + supplier ledger and a sales/profit dashboard in one app. If you need GST portal filing or multi-branch accounting inside the app, a heavier tool like Vyapar or MARG may fit better — we don't do those yet.
