Pro is ₹4,999 a year or ₹499 a month, plus 18% GST. That includes 200 photo scans a month. Extra scans are ₹199 plus GST for 100. Payment is by Razorpay (UPI, cards or netbanking) after you sign in.

Can Chat2Bill read a handwritten list or prescription?

Yes, on Pro and during the trial. Photograph the list, chit or prescription (several pages are fine). AI reads the items and matches them to your stock, and you review the draft before it goes on the bill. Clear, well-lit photos work best; long lists can take up to a minute.

Yes, on Pro. Photograph the supplier invoice and Chat2Bill drafts a purchase entry with items, quantities, rates and GST. You check it and save — stock and the supplier ledger update automatically. Purchase orders and purchase returns are also included.

Does Chat2Bill support voice billing?

Yes. Tap the mic and speak in Hindi, English or Hinglish — items, quantities and edits like “butter hatao”. Speech is converted on our servers, so it works the same on budget phones, but it needs an internet connection. Typing and scanning are always available.

Does it work with barcode scanners?

Yes. Plug in a USB barcode scanner on the web app, or use the phone camera on web and Android — for both billing and purchase entry. You can also print barcode labels for items that don't have one.

Do I need any special hardware?

No. Chat2Bill works on any phone, tablet or computer. It prints 80mm thermal receipts and A4/A5 invoices (four templates with your logo), and bills can be shared on WhatsApp.

Can I import my existing product list?

Yes. Upload an Excel or CSV file (a template is provided) with names, prices, stock, GST rates, HSN codes and barcodes. Our team can also migrate your old stock list for you free of charge.

What about GST compliance?

Accepted Answer

Invoices calculate CGST/SGST with HSN codes and can include the customer's GSTIN. You can export GSTR-1 (CSV/JSON), a GST summary with input-tax match, and Tally XML for your CA. Chat2Bill does not file returns on the GST portal, and does not generate e-invoices, e-way bills or IGST invoices yet.

Do WhatsApp payment reminders cost extra?

No. Chat2Bill prepares the reminder with the due amount, and you send it with one tap from your own WhatsApp or SMS. Nothing is sent automatically, so there are no message charges.

Today each shop uses its own Chat2Bill account and plan. Inside one shop you can run multiple godowns with stock transfers and give each staff member their own login. Consolidated multi-branch accounts are on the roadmap — talk to us if you need it.

Yes, on Pro. Staff log in with the shop number, their name and a PIN. Roles (owner, manager, cashier, inventory staff, accountant) control what each person sees, and there is daily attendance.

Does it have an online store?

Yes, on Pro. You get a shareable store page; customers place orders, you see them in the app, and customers can track their order. Payment is collected on delivery (cash or UPI to you) — there is no online payment gateway on the store yet.

Does it work on slow internet or offline?

Typed and barcode billing use very small requests and work on weak networks; voice and photos need a steadier connection. If the internet drops while you are finishing a bill, the bill is saved on the device and synced when you're back online. Adding new items needs a connection, and unsynced bills are lost if the app data is cleared.

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS and your business data is never sold or shared. Photos you scan and voice clips are sent to our AI providers only to read them.
